Russian Helicopters’ backlog of orders exceeds 800 machines

MOSCOW, March 14 (Itar-Tass) - A backlog of Russian Helicopters’ orders exceeded 808 advanced machines worth 401.2 billion roubles ($1=about 36 roubles) at the end of 2013, a maker’s press service told Itar-Tass on Friday. Last year the holding supplied 275 helicopters, down by 15 machines or 5.2 percent as against 2012. “In 2013 the company exported nine types of helicopters to customers from ten countries,” the press service said. “Russian Helicopters’ profits reached 9.5 billion roubles in 2013, up by 1.3 percent year-on-year,” the press service said, adding that the company’s consolidated proceeds totalled 138.3 billion roubles, demonstrating a 10 percent growth. At the same time helicopter sales revenue reached 115.8 roubles and revenues from after-sales service and maintenance - 15.4 roubles. Russian Helicopters is a subsidiary of the aerospace holding Oboronprom, a member of Russian state-run corporation Rostec.
