Russia’s energy ministry says ready to supply fuel to Crimea

MOSCOW, March 20 (Itar-Tass) - Russia’s Ministry of Energy and Crimea’s government have agreed on fuel supplies to the republic to October 2014, the ministry reports referring to Minister Alexander Novak. “We have agreed with the Crimean government on fuel supplies over the agricultural works and over the resort season /May-October/,” the authority reports the minister as saying. The ministry has been monitoring fuel supplies. Right now, “the current supplies are sufficient to satisfy Crimea’s demand in engine fuel,” Novak said.
