SCO SECRETARY-GENERAL TO VISIT MONGOLIA

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Secretary-General of Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Dmitry Mezentsev is to visit Mongolia March 23-26 at invitation of Foreign Minister L.Bold. D.Mezentsev (55) was appointed to the office of SCO Secretary-General for duration of 1 January 2013 through 31 December 2015 at SCO Heads of State Council meeting in Beijing on June 7 of 2012. Mr Mezentsev is also an Ambassador-at-large of the Russian Federation Ministry of Foreign Affairs since 2008. He has PhD degree in political psychology, and is doctoral candidate of Moscow State Institute of International Relations of Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Mezentsev is married and has a daughter and a grandson.
