Russia, Kazakhstan trade turnover at unprecedented high - Lavrov

MOSCOW, April 3 (Itar-Tass) - Trade turnover between Russia and Kazakhstan reached an unprecedented $26.5 billion last year, up nearly five percent on 2012, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said after talks with Kazakhstan counterpart Yerlan Idrisov on Thursday. “Trade, economic and investment co-operation is at the core of our relations,” Idrisov said. “Russia is our ally and our biggest trade and economic partner. These figures are particularly impressive but our potential is much higher.” he said.
