Angola backs Russia on Ukraine

MOSCOW, April 8 (Itar-Tass) - Southern Africa’s Republic of Angola has expressed “solidarity with Russia on many issues, including Ukraine,” Foreign Minister Georges Rebelo Pinto Chikoti said after talks with Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov on Tuesday. “We highly appreciate the stance Russia has taken,” Chikoti said. “We hope it will be possible to reach an acceptable and mutually agreeable solution to the Ukrainian crisis.” Learn more on itar-tass.com
