Russian Emergencies Ministry plane leaves for Syria with humanitarian aid

MOSCOW, April 23 (Itar-Tass) - An Il-76 plane of the Russian Emergency Situations Ministry has left for Syria to deliver humanitarian aid, a ministry official has said. On the way back, the plane will take aboard 20 tonnes of oranges as a gift from Syria, the official told Itar-Tass on Wednesday. “Heated tents, foodstuffs and daily necessities are aboard the plane,” the official said.
