UAE Red Crescent distributes clothes among 1500 underprivileged children in Pakistan

Islamabad: The UAE Red Crescent Authority (UAERCA), with the cooperation of UAE Embassy has distributed through its office in Islamabad clothes to 1500 underprivileged children of Al Salam Charitable School and its three branches in the city of Rawalpindi of Punjab province in Pakistan. Humaid Rashid Al Shamsi, Acting Deputy Secretary-General of the International Aid in UAERCA, said that the distribution of the clothes is part of the third phase of the implementation of the campaign launched by Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum to provide clothing for one million children around the world. He emphasised that the office of the UAERCA in Islamabad continues to distribute thousands of clothes to underprivileged children in Pakistan especially orphans and people with disabilities On his part, the Director of Al Salam Charitable School expressed his thanks and gratitude to the UAE for sponsoring underprivileged children in the world. He expressed his deep appreciation for the efforts of the UAERCA team, which continues to distribute the clothes to children in different parts of Pakistan. – Emirates News Agency, WAM
