MALAYSIAN KING, QUEEN BEGIN VISIT TO KUWAIT SUNDAY

KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 28 (Bernama) -- Malaysian KIng Tuanku Mizan Zainal
Abidin, and his consort, Tuanku Nur Zahirah, will begin a three-day state visit
to Kuwait on Sunday.

The royal couple will be accompanied by Energy, Water and Communications
Minister Shaziman Abu Mansor and senior government officers during the visit,
said a Foreign Ministry statement Friday.

It said Tuanku Mizan will have an audience with the Emir of Kuwait, Sheikh
Sabah Al-Ahmed Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, and give an audience to the Prime Minister,
Sheikh Nasser Mohammad Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah.

Tuanku Mizan and Tuanku Nur Zahirah will attend a state banquet at the
Bayan Palace, it said.

The statement also said that the royal couple's itinerary includes meeting
Malaysians in Kuwait and visiting the Kuwait Scientific Centre, the Tareq Rajab
Museum and the Kuwait Tower.
