Kiev declines to implement Geneva agreements, OSCE roadmap - Foreign Ministry

MOSCOW, May 22 (Itar-Tass) - Ukraine refuses to implement the Geneva agreements of April 17 and the OSCE “roadmap”, Russia’s Foreign Ministry spokesman Alexander Lukashevich has said. “Unfortunately, the recent events in Ukraine have not seriously changed the situation in the country,” Lukashevich said on Thursday. “The authorities in Kiev do not wish to implement the Joint Geneva Statement on Ukraine from April 17 and the ‘roadmap’ developed by the Organisation for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE),” he said. “The documents envision the obligations for refraining from any violence.
