German FM Presents Special Chocolate World Cup Ball To Iran Envoy

Berlin, Jun 12, IRNA -- Iranˈs Ambassador to Germany Alireza Sheikh Attar was among 31 diplomats from World Cup participating countries receiving a special commemorative chocolate football from German Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier here Wednesday. Steinmeier wished the Iranian team all the success at the 2014 World Cup as he handed the German-made chocolate ball to Sheikh Attar during a ceremony at the foreign ministry, IRNA reported. Iran is facing tough World Cup encounters in Group F with football powerhouse Argentina, secret favorite Bosnia-Herzegovina and African champs Nigeria. Asked by IRNA to make a prediction ahead of Iranˈs matches against Argentina and Bosnia Herzegovina, the ambassadors of Iranˈs Group F rivals declined diplomatically to answer the question.
