BOROVOE. KAZINFORM - Kazakhstan with great hope awaits the Italian presidency of the European Union, said President Nursultan Nazarbayev. "Italian Presidency of the European Union in the second half of the year is awaited by our country. Kazakhstan intends to sign an agreement on advanced partnership with the European Union", said the President after the meeting with Prime Minister of the Italian Republic Matteo Renzi. President noted that Italy is a strategic partner of Kazakhstan in Europe. 13 percent of the total foreign trade turnover of Kazakhstan has been accrued to Italy. The total volume of Italian investments in our country was USD 6.5 billion.
