Russia praises relations with Libya - Putin

MOSCOW, June 27 (Itar-Tass) - Russia seeks to restore close trade and energy cooperation with Libya, Russia’s President Vladimir Putin has said. Russia also wants to expand military-technical cooperation, Putin said at a ceremony of receiving credentials from foreign ambassadors on Friday. “We praise the development of relations with Libya,” he said. “We support the Libyan authorities’ efforts aimed at stabilising the situation in the country and ensuring national accord,” Putin said.
