Airplane crash in Ukraine confirms need for soonest peace settlement, requires unbiased probe - Putin

MOSCOW, July 18 (Itar-Tass) - Russian President Vladimir Putin offered sincere condolences to Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte over the crash of a Malaysia Airlines passenger airliner over Ukraine that caused numerous casualties, most of them Dutch citizens, the Kremlin press service reported on Friday. “The Russian head of state noted that this tragedy confirmed once again the need for soonest peace settlement of the acutest crisis in Ukraine and noted that all details of the air crash should be investigated thoroughly and unbiasedly,” the Kremlin press service noted.
