No sanctions can ruin Russian economy - Medvedev

LIPETSK, July 18 (Itar-Tass) - Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev described U.S. sanctions against Russia as a programme of restrictions and deterrence of the country on Friday. “This is a programme of restricting our country or as it is conventionally said that of deterrence,” Medvedev said during a visit to Novolipetsk metallurgical plant on Friday. He believes that “No sanctions can ruin our economy.” Medvedev named U.S. sanctions as “an example of unfair competition” and “it is needed to tackle the situation within the World Trade Organisation (WTO) and other international procedures.” Learn more on itar-tass.com
