Putin to visit Progress space centre during visit to Samara region

MOSCOW, July 21 (Itar-Tass) - Russian President Vladimir Putin on Monday will make a trip to the Samara region, the Kremlin press service reported. The head of state will visit the JSC Progress Rocket and Space Centre where he will familiarise himself with the work and new samples of products of the enterprise for the creation, production and exploitation of medium-class carrier rockets. The president will also hold a meeting on the region’s socio-economic development with the participation of the heads of the major enterprises of the region in the spheres of oil refining, automobile production, aircraft industry and housing construction, the press service said.
