OSCE mission in Ukraine cuts number of observers over clashes

KIEV, August 6 (Itar-Tass) - The OSCE monitoring mission in Ukraine had to reduce the number of its observers in the cities of Donetsk and Lugansk over current hostilities, OSCE mission’s spokesman Michael Bociurkiw said live on Ukrainian Radio Vesti on Wednesday.
The OSCE official said that the global organisation’s mission had found major damages of different facilities in the city of Lugansk, but observers were not tasked to find who exactly was waging gunfire on the city.
As for the probe into the crash of a Malaysian Boeing-777 airliner in Donetsk region, Bociurkiw said that experts were working there at the first stage recovering bodies and belongings of those dead. Airliner’s debris will be examined at the second stage of a fact-finding operation.
