18 Ukrainian servicemen killed, 54 wounded in eastern Ukraine over past 24 hours - official

KIEV, August 6 (Itar-Tass) - The fighting in eastern Ukraine has left 18 servicemen dead and 54 wounded over the past 24 hours, National Security and Defence Council spokesman Andrei Lysenko said on Wednesday. “Over the past 24 hours Ukrainian troops engaged in the counter-terrorism operation in the east of Ukraine have lost eight troops and 54 have been wounded,” he said.
