Medical check-up shows Thailand's HM King in good health

BANGKOK, August 12 (TNA) - The latest medical check-up showed that Thailand’s His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej is in good health but only has mild gastritis, according to the second statement of the Royal Household Bureau released on Monday afternoon. The team of physicians reported that the king’s blood pressure, temperature and breathing rates were normal. Chest x-rays and heart examinations found His Majesty’s lungs and heart functions appeared normal too. However, the doctors found mild gastritis and administered medicine to His Majesty for treatment. Blood checks reportedly found no inflammation in the body system. Due to His Majesty’s old age, the King could have decreased appetite, so the doctors administered parenteral nutrition to help His Majesty regain full strength, the statement added. (TNA)
