Iran, S.Korea Ink Water Agreement

Tehran, Sept 25, IRNA - Iran and South Korea signed a water agreement in the city of Guangzhou. Signing the agreement is coincided with the 22nd International Conference on Irrigation and Drainage. The agreement includes public participation in maintaining irrigation and drainage networks, farmers’ participation in protection of surface and underground water, wrote Thursday's edition of 'Iran Daily'. Meanwhile management and control of quality of water resources from structural and technical perspectives are other subjects of the agreement. Carrying out projects, conducting researches, holding professional and training courses, arranging visits for representatives of both sides are the methods of implementing the agreement.
