SPEAKER WORKS IN SUKHBAATAR AIMAG

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The Chairman of State Great Khural Z.Enkhbold worked in Sukhbaatar aimag on November 1 to get acquainted with the aimag’s constructions such as “Five treasures”– livestock district, “Education” district, and to attend openings of a 200-students’ school dormitory and nursing home for elders and disabled. "Five Treasures" sub-district for 50 families has been built by the local financing of MNT 390 million, with water and power facilities, in seven kilometers from the province's center. Road connections, trade and service centers, and healthcare facilities have been decided comprehensively. The Governor of Sukhbaatar aimag said that although the farming and herding of livestock are a crucial part of the people’s livelihoods, it might possibly increase a number of animal-transmitted illnesses and affect the urban enhancements. "Relocating the cattle is a necessary step in such times of rapid urbanization," he said. The Speaker visited a farm of J.Batbaatar who is taking now care of 30 dairy cattle of 30 and lately added some Steppe-Red Simmental breed of cows to his farm. After this, the Speaker attended the grand opening of “Education” district that was reflected in the Governor’s action plan of 2012-2016 on restructuring the center of the aimag and creating a modern city. The district has 960-student school, a kindergarten for 200 children, a school dormitory for 200, also a center for teachers’ development, central library, museum of ethnology, and apartments for 250. The Speaker highly spoke of new developments in Sukhbaatar. "It is a great opportunity for the locals to buy an apartment at 40 million Togrogs and to have access to mortgage loans for herders,” he said and thanked the locality administration and executor companies for all this constructions. Another leg of the Speaker’s visit was a new nursing home for elders and people with disabilities. This aimag has commissioned a new nursing home and resort with 600 sq.meters of field, with comprehensive facilities such as dormirotory and service centers, and with a possibility to add gers (national dwellings) during summer time. The resort is to receive 45 customers in summer and 26–in winter. The Speaker was accompanied by the Deputy PM D.Terbishdagva, M.Zorigt MP, an advisor to the Speaker S.Lambaa, and the Governor of Sukhbaatar aimag J.Batsuuri.
