Laos, China pledge to further comprehensive cooperation
(KPL) Vientiane Capital and Kunming city, Yunna province of China pledged to further the existing comprehensive cooperation and mutual investment between two capitals.
The commitment was made during two high ranking delegations of Vientiane Capital and Yunnan province on 8 December in Vientiane.
The Vientiane Capital delegation led by Vientiane Mayor Sombath Yialiher while Chinese delegation led by Mr Qiu He, a Member of Standing Committee of the CPC Yunnan Province Committee and Secretary of Kunming Municipal Committee of the Communist Party of China.
The Chinese delegation visited Laos in response to the invitation of Vientiane Mayor between 7-10 December.
The bilateral meeting reviewed previous cooperation, particularly in the assistance of Kunming City to Vientiane Capital. The assistance of Kunming City has so far granted personnel computers and technical training for teachers of Lao political administration school.
Vientiane Mayor said that the visit of Kunming delegation was to enhance the existing comprehensive cooperation and trade between Laos and China.
They were satisfied with previous mutual cooperation and pledged to further the existing cooperation, particularly in the promotion of mutual investment.
