Civil servants In Palembang Undergo Urine Test

Palembang, S Sumatra, Nov 17 (Antara) -- The Narcotics Board (BNK) of Palembang city in South Sumatra conducted urine tests of civil servants of the local transportation office on Monday, BNK spokesman Ismail Ishaq said. "All civil servants will be subjected to a urine test in stages," Ishaq stated here on Monday. He further noted that after all civil servants in the city undergo the test in stages, other contract workers will have to take the test, as well. According to the spokesman, it is mandatory for some 200 civil servants of the transportation office of Palembang to undergo the test. This is to ensure that they are clean from drug abuse.
