MONGOLIA-RUSSIA-CHINA TOURISM ADJUSTMENT MEETING RUNS

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ A regular adjustment meeting for the "Mongolia and China Cross-Border Tourism" ran in Khokhkhot of China on December 7. The meeting was expanded this year with an inclusion of Ulaanbaatar and the Russian South Baikal region. The decisions were made at the meeting to conduct auto tours Manjuur–Chita--UlaanUde--Irkutsk-Ulaanbaatar--Arkhashaat, to put on rails a tourist train called "Steppe Star" through Khokhkhot-- Ulaanbaatar--Ulan-Ude route. Adjustment was made to extend the youth tour of Chinese Inner Mongolia and Russian South Baikal to Ulaanbaatar. The sides also discussed ways of attracting tourists of the fourth countries by extending the "Tea Road" routes developed at the initiatives of the three countries.
