FOREIGN MINISTER MEETS JAPANESE DELEGATION

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The Minister of Foreign Affairs L.Purevsuren Thursday received a delegation led by Mr J.Ihara, head of the Asia-Pacific Department of the Japan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The Japanese delegation is visiting here to participate in a regular consultative meeting between the bodies of foreign, defense and security affairs. Beginning the meeting, Mr Ihara congratulated Mr Purevsuren on being appointed as the Minister of Foreign Affairs, and expressed his satisfaction with widening of the bilateral relations and cooperation in all spheres and activating of high-level mutual visits. He said Japan wants to boost the mutual visit, keeping the dynamics of the cooperation. The Foreign Minister Mr Purevsuren expressed his satisfaction with reaching a principal agreement to establish an Economic Partnership Agreement, and said Mongolia is ensuring preparations for signing the Agreement in near future.
