President meets domestic manufacturers and businessmen

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The President Ts.Elbegdorj held a meeting with the Mongolian business people and manufacturers on Wednesday at the Soyombo Hall of the Best Western Tuushin hotel. In the scope of one of the goals of the President’s Policy and Action Plan, which says about "replacing an import products and supporting domestic production, service and export of value-added processed goods", a draft law on Supporting the Domestic Production and Manufacturers was initiated. This was highlighted by the President and discussed with the gathered. The three-hour action brought together D.Erdenebat, the Minister of Industry; R.Burmaa, the Minister of Food and Agriculture; D.Tsogtbaatar, the Minister of Construction and Urban Development; representatives of Ministry of Finance, the Customs General Administration, the General Department of Taxation, the National Statistical Office and other officials of the relevant organizations. Present were also delegates of the private organizations and industries such as wool, cashmere, leather, textile products, logging, printing, packaging, cement, concrete, steel, iron, construction materials, livestock farming, agriculture, milk, associations of dairy products, Erdenet Minig Corporation, Darkhan Metallurgical Plant, “Suu” LLC, “Darkhan Nekhii”, “Mon-Milk” LLC, “Mongol Chevron” LLC, “Gobi” Corporation, “Goyo” LLC, “Gatsuurt” LLC, “Gazar Shim” LLC, MCS Group, Teso Corporation and others. After the participants had expressed their views, Ts.Elbegdorj and a Minister of Industry D.Erdenebat delivered the closing remarks to express positions over implementing of the proposals and suggestions of the participants.
