Agreement reached for export of Iranian goods to Russia

Tehran, Jan 11, IRNA – Deputy head of Russian Federal Service for veterinary supervision said on Sunday that agreement was reached between Iran and Russia for exporting Iranian agricultural and animal products to Russia. According to Iran's Veterinary Organization, Alexi Alexinko by referring to negotiations between Russian and Iranian delegations concerning export of goods to Russia, said that Iranian side is ready to export fresh milk, hard cheese, and dairy products, fish, sea products, variety of fresh vegetable and fruits to Russia. At the first stage, chance for exporting the Persian Gulf shrimp and trout are more considerable. Currently, 20 thousand tones of trout, and at least 3 thousand tones of shrimp has been planned for export, Alexinko added. Concerning export of chicken, Alexinko said that chicken hatcheries in Iran are modern and there is no problem for importing chicken from Iran.
