SQUASH SQUAD EYEING CLEAN SWEEP

KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 13 (Bernama) -- The presence of Malaysia's number three
men's squash player Mohd Nafiizwan Mohd Adnan has given the national squad the
confidence for a clean sweep of the three gold on offer for the event in the
14th Asean University Games.

Squash, which is making its debut in the Games, kicks off on Wednesday and
ends on Sunday at Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia's squash complex near
here.

Team manager, Badri Abd Ghani said only Singapore and Laos were the other
countries competing in squash and such a clean sweep should not pose a
problem.

Besides Mohd Nafiizwan, there were also two other national juniors in the
squad namely Siti Munirah Jusuh and Lim Yoke Wah, he told Bernama here Saturday.

At stake are the men's and women's individual gold and the team
gold.
