Draft resolution submitted on establishing diplomatic relations

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The Minister of Justice D.Dorligjav Friday submitted to the parliament Speaker Z.Enkhbold a draft resolution on establishing diplomatic relations with some countries. As known, in December 30 of 2010 Mongolia set a goal to establish such ties with 45 countries through its diplomatic missions abroad. This has been realized in accordance with a goal to have diplomatic relations with all UN members, in frames of the Concepts on national security and on foreign policy and of the 2012-2016 action programme of the government. For the time being, theis relationship has been created with 24 out of these 45 states. Since the government has been obliged by the parliamentary Standing committee on security and foreign policy to continue establishing the ties, an initiative has been approved to have such relations with Uganda, Rwanda, Micronesia, Haiti, Kiribati, Chad and Mauritius through our Embassy in China and Permanent Representative Office to the UN. Joint official notes have been signed as well.
