Shooter Ch.Narantuya wins silver medal in Grand Prix

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ An international master of sports and gold medalist of Asian Games Ch.Narantuya has won a silver medal in the International Shooting Grand Prix tournament named after Emir of Kuwait continuing in Kuwait. She captured the medal on the second day of the tournament on January 25 with 418.2 points at the final round, competing in the women’s 10 m air rifle contest. A gold medal went to a Serbian shooter Andrea Arsovic, and a Singaporean shooter received a bronze medal in the contest. Another Mongolian D.Lhamsuren (410.0 points) IMS took 9th place, and Z.Batkhuyag IMS (409.4 points)--13th place in the women’s air rifle contest. Apart from them, the national team of Mongolia has included a State Honored Sportswoman O.Gundegmaa; IMSs L.Uranzaya, E.Davaakhuu, Z.Namduun, B.Namuunzul and D.Lhagvasuren. The competitions will last until January 31.
