Bandy team competing in World Championships

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The national team of Mongolia for bandy is competing in the B division of the 35th Bandy World Championship kicked off on February 1 in Khabarovsk, Russia. Seeded in the B Group with teams of the Netherlands, Germany, China and Somalia, the Mongolian team defeated China and Somalia on the first day of the tournament. Currently, the Mongolian team has collected four points with two wins and one lose to Germany. By the schedule, Mongolia will play against the Netherlands on Tuesday. As of present, the Netherlands’ team is topping the B Group at the B Division with six points, and the Mongolian and German teams are being listed on the second place with four points. The national teams of Belarus, Finland, Kazakhstan, Latvia, Norway, Russia, Sweden and the USA are competing in the A division of the Bandy World Championships. The championships will continue until February 6.
