BoM holds FX auction

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ On the Foreign Exchange Auction held on Tuesday, the Bank of Mongolia (BoM) received bid offers of USD 16.2 million in a closing rate of MNT 1944.25-1945.90 and CNY 65.5 million in a closing rate of MNT 310.60-311.26 from local commercial bank and BoM did not accept the offer. The BoM received MNT Swap agreement bid offer in equivalent to USD 20.0 million and USD Swap agreement bid offer of USD 20 million from local commercial banks and accepted the offer.
