PM addresses business meeting in Japan
Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Within his working visit, the Prime Minister Ch.Saikhanbileg made the opening remarks at a Mongolia-Japan business forum on Tuesday in Tokyo, Japan.
He thanked the organizers for letting businessmen meet with each other and said his government is working to ensure the stability for politics and business and is focusing on improving the legal environment for augmenting investments. He noted that Mongolia and Japan are about to sign the Economic Partnership Agreement that will give a nice opportunity to Mongolian and Japanese businessmen.
Mongolia is awaiting new investors for the biggest projects on the mining, power stations, railway construction, metallurgy and copper-melting plants and construction of highways and metro station. High level mutual visits have been regularized, and the political ties have boosted. The inter-citizen ties also have forwarded today, "so it is time for us to draw a great attention to our relations in the economic and trade spheres," Mr Saikhanbileg underlined.
The reports were given by R.Jigjid, the Minister of Mining; N.Zoljargal, the president of the Bank of Mongolia; O.Chuluunbat, an advisor to the PM.
Co-organized by the Embassy of Mongolia in Japan and the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO), the business meeting brought together some 200 businessmen.
