Issue presented of discussing appointment of Prosecutor-General

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ An issue oө discussing a nomination to the Office of the State Prosecutor-General was presented to the Speaker Z.Enkhbold on Thursday. An adviser to the President on human eights and legal policy Ch.Onorbayar submitted the President’s proposal on appointing Mr Enkh-Amgalan Magvannorov the Prosecutor-General, in frames of the President’s full authority reflected in the Constitution. The candidate M.Enkh-Amgalan was born in 1963 in Ulaanbaatar, studied in 11th and sixth secondary schools in 1971-1981, graduated from the Institute for Advanced Investigating Prosecutors and the Ministry of Interior of the former USSR in 1987 majoring in legal studies. He satisfied master’s degree in Law at the International Space Station College of Russia in 2003. He worked as an investigator at the Police Unit of Khovsgol aimag in 1987-1988, an investigator at the police Unit of Ulaanbaatar Railways in 1988-1991, a chief investigator at the State Investigation Office in 1991-2008, and as vice-chairman of the State Police Department in 2008-2012. The candidate satisfies all criteria in accordance with the 39th section of the Law on Prosecuting Organization, said Onorbayar. The proposal was approved by the Standing committee on justice on February 13.
