Number of crimes increases

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ At a national level, 2,960 crimes were reported in January of this year, showing a 309 crimes or 11.7% increase against the previous year's January. This increase was mainly due to increases in crimes against the right of ownership (197), inflicting bodily harm (78), hooliganism (29), financial crimes (21). 991 people got injured and 169 people died in these crimes. The number of the injured increased 227 people or 29.7%, the number of the deaths went up by 24 people or 16.6%.
