Foreign trade statistics

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ In January of 2015, Mongolia traded with 92 countries. Total external trade turnover reached USD 720.0 million, of which 472.7 million US dollars revenue was collected by exports and 247.3 million US dollars--by imports. Total external trade turnover increased USD 61.9 million or 9.4 percent against the same period of 2014. Exports went up USD 151.7 million or 47.3 percent, whereas imports decreased by USD 89.8 million or 26.6 percent compared to same period of the previous year. External trade balance showed a deficit of USD 16.1 million in January 2014. It resulted in surplus of USD 225.4 million last January.
