Prime Minister works in Omnogovi

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The Prime Minister’s working visit to Omnogovi aimag started with legging a wintering place of the new bearer of “Good Herder of the State” Z.Amarsanaa from Emgenbulag soum on February 14. This place is called Khar Khoshuu (Black Cape). The local leaders said Amarsanaa has been leading his life as a herder for over twenty years. The secret to his success, they noted, is that his family overcomes natural difficulties by changing the grazing places of livestock in harmony with the timely demands and giving great significance to the quality of livestock breeding. Another key to the successful herding is Amarsanaa’s careful estimation of the grazing land and water sources and good preparation of keeps. The Premier said Amarsanaa is being awarded the title of a “Good Herder of the State” in a high recognition of his role–modeling by creatively observing the State policies and decisions towards improving the animal farming and herding sector and his excellent coping with the natural difficulties, and of the family’s herding experiences. The PM also wished the family more yield from the livestock in the coming Year of the Sheep, as well as health and happiness. The herder Amarsanaa had 1,600 heads of livestock counted in 2014, and was awarded a title “Good Herder of the soum” in 2007, and “Good Herder of the aimag” in 2013.
