Industrial production in figures

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The industrial production index (2010=100 seasonally adjusted and experimental estimation) in January of 2015 increased 4.4 percent against the same period of the previous year, but decreased 18.6 percent from the previous month, reports the National Statistics Office. In the mining and quarrying sectors, the extraction of products such as zinc concentrate, gold, coal, broken or crashed stone, and of crude oil increased by 7.8-32.2 percent. The production of juices, beer, metal foundries, bakery products, carpet, knitted goods, combed cashmere, kinds of sausages, steel casting, spirit, soft drinks, leather boots, shoes, packaged green tea, lime, vacuum windows and doors increased 2.0 percent-4.1 times in the manufacturing sector against January of 2014.
