14 countries' envoys visit Iran's dam construction technology

Ahvaz, March 7, IRNA – Ambassadors of 14 countries to Iran in a visit of Iran's southern Khuzestan province witnessed the capabilities of Iranian technicians in dam building and construction of Karun 3, Karun 4, and Izeh dams on Saturday. Governor of Izeh City told IRNA that the Energy Ministry has annual programs in introduction of that ministry's capabilities and this time 14 foreign countries' ambassadors were invited to Khuzestan. Jahanbakhsh Qalavand said that after visiting the Karun3, Karun 4 and Izeh dams the foreign ambassadors visited the historical monuments of Koulfarah near Izeh. The foreign ambassadors in the visit were from Pakistan, Germany, Afghanistan, Georgia, Indonesia, the Sudan, Kuwait, Egypt, Jordan, Algeria, South Africa, Kazakhstan, and Tajikistan. Izeh City is located at a 120 kilometer distance to the east of Khuzestan province's capital city, Ahvaz.
