Ballet dancer D.Altankhuyag becomes cultural envoy

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The Minister of Foreign Affairs L.Purevsuren has granted a diploma of Cultural Envoy of Mongolia to D.Altankhuyag, a State Honored Artist and a solo ballet dancer at the Boston Ballet Theatre, during participating in the ITB Berlin international tourism exhibition that is continuing in Berlin, Germany. At the ceremony, the Foreign Minister Mr Purevsuren emphasized that the diploma of Cultural Envoy is bestowed upon a ballet dancer Altankhuyag for his contributions to a development of classic arts and raising Mongolia’s reputation around the world. Mr Purevsuren said that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs will support the Cultural Envoy for fulfilling his responsibilities for propagandizing Mongolia abroad and boosting bilateral cooperation in the culture, art, history, sport, humanity and scientific spheres. The ballet dancer D.Altankhuyag has become the third person to become the Cultural Envoy of Mongolia.
