BoM holds FX auction

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ On the Foreign Exchange Auction held Thursday, the Bank of Mongolia (BoM) received bid offers of USD 2.0 million in a rate between MNT 1988.91-1989.0 and CNY 4.0 million in a rate of MNT 317.73-317.82 from local commercial banks. The BoM did not accept the offers. The BoM received MNT Swap agreement bid offer equivalent to USD 5.0 million and USD Swap agreement bid offer of USD 35.0 million from local commercial banks and accepted the offer.
