Another round of intra-Syrian consultations to be held in Moscow on April 6-9 - Russian foreign ministry

MOSCOW, March 24. /TASS/. Another round of intra-Syrian consultations will be held in Moscow on April 6 through 9, the Russian foreign ministry said on Tuesday after a recent visit to Damascus by Russian Ambassador at Large Azamat Kulmukhametov and Director of the Russian Academy of Sciences’ Institute of Oriental Studies Vitaly Naumkin. "They had meetings with Syrian President Bashar Assad, other Syrian officials and with leaders of Syria’s National Coordination Committee to discuss issues linked with another round of intra-Syrian dialogue in Moscow on April 6-9," the ministry said. "The Syrian partners commended Moscow’s efforts on this problem and reiterated their commitment to constructive participation in the Moscow forum," the ministry noted. Read more
