Royal Floria Putrajaya Draws Participants From 28 Nations - Deputy Federal Territories Minister

PUTRAJAYA (Malaysia), May 12 (Bernama) -- About 50 international participants from 28 nations have agreed to take part in the Royal Floria Putrajaya 2015 festival here from May 30 to June 7, said Deputy Federal Territories Minister Loga Bala Mohan. He said among the nations were Australia, Cambodia, Canada, Denmark, Spain, Ecuador, Oman, South Africa and the United Kingdom. "Four nations, Kenya, Ecuador, Oman and Indonesia would make representation on the embassy row in the Floral Pavillion. A representative of the Melbourne Flower Show will also be in Putrajaya as guest," he said at the soft launch of the Royal Floria Putrajaya at the Putrajaya International Convention Centre here Monday. Loga Bala said Royal Floria Putrajaya was carefully designed so as to develop and progress at an accelerating rate to promote tropical flowers, parks and gardens aggressively and to put Malaysia in general and Putrajaya in particular, on the world flower show map. He said this year the Royal Floria Putrajaya was proud to showcase a simulation of winter and spring gardens in Europe. Themed, Lily - Tapestry of Hues, the Royal Floria Putrajaya at Anjung Floria, Precinct 4, here will also showcase therapy gardens, cats' garden and spa garden. -- BERNAMA
