RADIO24 TO BE AVAILABLE NATIONWIDE NEXT YEAR

KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 20 (Bernama) -- Radio24, the radio station managed by the Malaysian National News Agency (BERNAMA), will extend its coverage to include the whole of the country next year.

Currently, it only caters to listeners in the Klang Valley.

The station's chief operating officer Sheikh Raffie Abd Rahman said this
was expected to be a reality by the middle of next year.

"Efforts are being taken in this direction," he told Bernama after
attending a seminar to promote advertisements on the station to small and medium
enterprises (SMEs).

He added that the station, though only a year in operation, had become very
popular on the airwaves and Internet, thus necessitating the expansion.

Over 100 SME entrepreneurs are attending the two-day seminar which ends
Sunday.
