SPECIAL LICENSE GIVEN TO OPERATE TT-BASED INDUSTRIAL PARK

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ On Monday, the Cabinet resolved to give a five-year special license to "Tavan tolgoi Trans" LLC to conduct industrial-technology park operations in Zairmagtai steppe of Bayan-Ovoo soum, Omnogovi aimag. The company’s proposal had satisfied related legal requirements. The Minister of Industry D.Erdenebat was assigned to conclude an agreement with the license owner, to monitor the agreement implementation and to issue a conclusion. The implementation of this project is expected to be of great importance in developing industries that are based on Tavan tolgoi deposit’s resources and capacity as well as on advanced technologies. It will help create more workplaces, produce and commercializing environmentally-friendly final products, and promoting the locality's development. For the time being, the Government has granted permits to operate industrial parks in Darkhan-Uul and Orkhon aimags, in Telmen soum of Zavkhan aimag, and in Baganuur district of Ulaanbaatar. The parks in Darkhan and Erdenet cities are in operation, whereas the other two are in their preparation phase.
