Synchronised Swimming Adds Silver

SINGAPORE, June 5 (Bernama) -- Malaysia's synchronised swimmers ended their outing at the Singapore SEA Games by adding another silver to the national tally Thursday night.
The team under China's coach Long Yan and former swimmer, Shreen Png took the silver in the free combination routine with 73.7333 points, trailing 3.3333 points behind the host who collected 77.0667 points.
Indonesia came in third with 71.6667 points.
"Generally I am happy with their performance and will continue to hone their skills to face the next SEA Games to be hosted by Malaysia in 2017," said Png.
The synchronised swimming events which ended Thursday night were dominated by Singapore with two gold and one silver medals.
Meanwhile, Malaysia put up a commendable performance with a gold and two silver medals while Indonesia was third with three bronze. (photoBERNAMA)
