MONGOLIA-BELARUS INTERGOVERNMENTAL COMMISSION MEETING RUNS

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Mongolia and Belarus discussed their bilateral cooperation in several spheres at the 3rd meeting of the intergovernmental commission of trade and economic cooperation on Friday in Ulaanbaatar. The meeting was co-chaired by Ms G.Baigalmaa, the Vice Minister of Construction and Urban Development and chair of the Mongolia-Belarus intergovernmental joint commission for the Mongolian side; and Mr A.S.Ogorodnikov, the Vice Minister of Industry of Belarus and head of the Belarus side of the commission. The parties concluded a realization of works agreed at the previous meeting held in 2014 in Minsk, and discussed issues of expanding the cooperation in industry, roads, transportation, customs, agriculture, construction, urban development, education, sciences, and law. A protocol of the meeting was signed as well. Following the meeting, a memorandum of mutual understanding between the Agricultural Ministries of the two countries was signed by Ms R.Burmaa, Mongolia’s Minister of Food and Agriculture, and by Mr V.P.Pivovar, the Belarus Vice Minister of Agriculture and chairman of the Authority of Veterinary and Food Control.
