PREMIER WISHES SUCCESS TO SQUAD OF WORLD SKILLS COMPETITION

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The Prime Minister Ch.Saikhanbileg Monday granted a State Flag to a team of Mongolia that will take part in the 43rd World Skills Competition.
The event is to run this August 11-16 in Sro Paulo of Brazil. The Premier wished big success to the members who will represent our country for the first time in the World Skills Competition. Comprising 23 members team will leave for Brazil this August 4 to compete in nine events.
This year’s competition will be attended by 1,200 people from 60 countries to compete in 50 professions.
The World Skills is an international skills competition for youth that is held in a different member country every two years. As of September 2008, World Skills International has 50 member countries. Competitors of 17-22 years demonstrate an excellence in a number of different skilled trades and technology contest areas.
The competition is promoted and managed by World Skills International, formerly known as the International Vocation Training Organization (IVTO).
