Lao Viva drinking water product receives platinum award
(KPL) Pepsi Company’s Viva drinking-water product won a platinum award on finest beverage products in the 2008-2009 World Largest Beverage Competition in Geneva, Switzerland on 11 December, after Viva was voted as the world’s best drinking-water.
Lao Soft drink Company (Pepsi) disclosed last Friday that it received honorable platinum award on finest beverage products from the 2008-2009 World Largest Beverage Competition, after introduced its Viva drinking water 3 years ago.
“It is very surprise and we did not think that our Viva drinking water would receive this platinum award, after attending,” said Mr Nouphan, Deputy Director General of the Lao Soft drink Company.
Mr Nouphan said that “this award does not only increase the credit for any one but also raise reputation of the country so we are Lao people should be very proud and continue to produce new things for society”
This year, winners hail from 25 countries and all parts of the globe: Argentina, Australia, Canada, Chile, China, Colombia, Ecuador, England, France, Germany, Indonesia, Ireland, Italy, Kenya, Laos, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand, Panama, Puerto Rico, Scotland, South Africa, Spain, Sweden and of course The United States.
