Azerbaijan, U.S. discuss expanding cooperation in aviation field

Baku, November 20, AZERTAC President of the Azerbaijan Airlines CJSC Jahangir Asgarov has today met a USA delegation led by Deputy Assistant Secretary of Commerce for Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA) Michael Lally to discuss how to expand cooperation between the two countries in the field of aviation. The delegation was informed about the development of aviation in Azerbaijan, and the international flights network of the AZAL. The sides agreed to exchange experience between the two countries to strengthen cooperation and hold joint trainings in this field. Mr. Lally said he arrived in Baku accompanied by the delegation representing 15 companies, adding they held a number of fruitful meetings here. Michael Lally also noted that he visited Baku 12 years ago, and praised the changes in the country during this period. The U.S. Ambassador to Azerbaijan was present at the meeting.
