Carousell Launches Web Platform To Reach Wider Audiences

KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 2 (Bernama) -- Carousell, one of the world's largest and fastest-growing mobile-first marketplaces, has launched its web platform to help the community reach wider audiences via desktop computers. Carousell Snap.List.Sell web platform has hit over 140 million pageviews prior to its announcement and continues to grow. In a statement, its co-founder Quek Siu Riu said: "The web platform is a great opportunity to help our sellers reach buyers more effectively and to enhance our community's Carousell experience on the whole." The web platform also mimics its mobile counterpart's minimalist and clean design, which Carousell hopes to make the browsing of the marketplace easy and user-friendly. "We started developing the web platform after hearing our community's requests for it and we are happy that they are finding it to be a useful companion so far," said another co-founder Marcus Tan.
